Three Sets of Twelve is a mural in
three parts, one long section above the next. The sections are installed
on a slightly curved wall that goes up three floors across from an
elevator in the lobby of the new federal courthouse. The first level
shows twelve people, each seated in the chair necessary for his or
her job. The second level shows a chair used by the jury at the new
courthouse, painted in twelve different orientations. The third level
depicts the same twelve people seated as a jury observing the viewer
                    with a single gaze.
